At Mudita, where ‘Mudita’ means ‘Joy’ in Sanskrit, we bring you a tale of artistic passion and sartorial innovation. Our journey begins with a creative spirit that has flourished since childhood, exploring art through canvases and pottery. As we matured, so did our fascination with expressing creativity through apparel
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Lejina Rajan and I have over 20 years of professional experience in the airline industry in sales and marketing, In January 2021 I, along with my former colleague Ms Supriya Kelkar, decided to take the leap into entrepreneurship to pursue my interest in apparel and accessory design. We launched our label Lejina & Supriya Designs (LSD), a boutique design house for exclusive, one of its kind sarees and other apparel. In Sep 2022 we completed 1 year and sold more than 100 sarees. Now LSD has transformed into ” Mudita” . Mudita is derived from a Sanskrit word which means Joy. LSD Brings you a new brand ” Mudita” Created for you.
Mudita brings to you unique, never seen before ethnic sarees from Mandala, Madhubani art to contemporary and abstract designs digitally printed on select fabrics. All our designs are hand designed, handcrafted and digitally printed on satin, crepe, chanderi and silk fabrics.
We give the shoppers the option to customize products as per their choice by selecting the design, color and material to be printed on sarees, dupattas, scarfs. t-shirts and kaftans.
We endeavour to give a fresh, contemporary makeover to traditional Indian crafts to suit the palate of the discerning shoppers. Our fabrics make you feel comfortable on all occasions, while you stand out in the crowd with our quirky, yet tasteful designs.
